The Swim Course 2013

The starting point for the first discipline is at the breakwater outside Elevatorkajen -  close to the center of Kalmar. The start is in the water. The swimming will be in Kalmar strait, a part of the Baltic Sea. The water is brackish and the temperature is normally 19-20 degrees Celcius. The athletes will swim 3.8 km on a two loop course and it ends in the channel under the Ängöbridge. Along the channel the spectators can cheer and follow the athletes up until to the swim finish.
